Performance
This piece renders an oppressively intense and harrowing commentary on the crusades of the present. At the hospice, Sister Mama Zara is trying to heal war victims of their traumas, to prepare them for a new crusade. At a benefit revue replete with an invalid choir, live music and a tombola, the perfidious bride of Christ demonstrates the effectiveness of her healing methods and offers an insight into the voyeuristic practices of the relevant television shows while she’s at it.
