Company
Andrea Miltnerová trained to become a dancer in London, where she also lived for a long time. She was a dancer for the Prague National Theatre Ballet, as part of which she toured throughout the world. For some time now, Miltnerová has been an independent dancer in the field of contemporary dance.
Performance
Body, why have you left me? Like the insect in Kafka’s story The Metamorphosis, the body suddenly realises that it has turned into another being and now has to master a completely new way of moving. What has happened to me? – Gregor Samsa’s question is turned into an expressive-minimalistic act of emancipation. The precise movement and flow of skin, muscles and nerves, especially in the back and arms, is shown in high resolution, making it appear as if a metamorphosis is taking place in real time.
