Lacrimosa
Bruno Pilz
Berlin/Germany
Multimedia Puppet Theatre
Company
Bruno Pilz has been studying Puppetry at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin since 2006. He started as a magician and juggler in a circus in Italy. From early on, he has been fascinated by the visual effects of video games and films. The aesthetics of his enigmatic humorous miniatures are influenced by the play with colours, lights and shadows.
Performance
Two spectators watching each other's loneliness. A man in front of the television and the spectators watching him. Lacrimosa is dense audiovisual puppet theatre, inspired by the idea that you could watch your life again after death as a kind of film.
