Charity Children
Berlin/Germany, Auckland/New Zealand
For the last two years, New Zealand indie-folk duo Chloë Lewer and Elliott McKee have been living in Berlin. During this time, they have busked on the streets of the capital and performed in small Kreuzberg venues. For their debut single “Elisabeth”, which is about a moody, rebellious girl, Charity Children were awarded the Best Song prize in the Berlin Music Video Awards. In early summer this year, they also released their first album, The Autumn Came. Although still an insider tip, Charity Children’s fan base is constantly growing so this is a good opportunity to experience them in a more intimate setting.
