An oval lectern beneath a canopy; fabrics, stones, chains, and balls hang between gravity and weightlessness; threads flow from a container like water – constantly becoming entangled and disentangled. Time races, elapses, stretches out, stands still. Does it live within us, or do we live within it? Alles/Nichts (All/Nothing) renders the transience of time visible, audible and tangible, lending it a shape and recording its movement. Oscillating between object theatre and new circus, this piece sends the audience into unexplored realms of perception, transforming physics into poetry in the process.

Cie Modo Grosso is a micro-collective consisting of the circus artist Alexis Rouvre and Tiziano Lavoratornovi who is a dancer and visual artist. Since 2015, the duo have been exploring the connections between aspects of dance, circus acrobatics and object manipulation. In 2017 they founded the Modo Grosso Company and since then have been working together or individually in various projects with other artists from a diverse range of disciplines. The production Tout/Rien (All/Nothing) is an object circus that examines scientific concepts like gravity, motion and magnetism through visual theatre.
