Company
Georg Traber completed his movement-oriented acting training at different acting schools in Switzerland. In the early nineties he started his first projects with the street theatre Zirkus Dr. Eisenbarth and the carrousel spectacle Paradiesbohrer. Since 1996 he has staged numerous solo performances and is now one of the best-known performance artists in Switzerland.
Performance
A sack hanging from a rope. Around it a heap of ash tree poles, three of them are tied together in the centre to form a tripod. On this base Heinz builds a giant Mikado tower which is slowly growing towards the sky. Three times he interrupts his meditative climb in this labyrinth of poles to eat before the filigrane construction finally reaches a height of 13 meters. One day Heinz will leave it upwards. Until then, though, the artistic architect takes away pole for pole to dismantle his temporary architecture.
