Performance
Am I awake or am I dreaming? A giant wire pig sculpture moves around in circles, a samovar rotates aimlessly in the flies, a swan from Swan Lake dances out of turn and ends up dying in an impressive round of stage fireworks. Poetic magic and a fairy-tale atmosphere. Who catches whom; who gets caught? And who lets whom go again? It is the old children’s game of hide-and-seek turned into a love-play between refusal and desire, distance and closeness, happiness and unhappiness. In this theatre, light, colour and images dance nimbly with one another, associatively provoking the question whether this is not the true world and we are only living in its shadow.
s and as tight as skin and nearly a touch - close to the edge of existence.
