They stand in their own way, but their contradictions are their essence. They are a source of intensity, sensuality and poetry. Between old church pews, three men and a woman retell their search for identity, transient beauty and the fact that change is an unavoidable constant of human life. Fear and love, gender exchange and symbiotic fusion, chaos and perfection – the constellations shift between domination, heteronomy and submission. With a mixture of different influences and styles from contemporary dance, a story emerges that is as impressive as its output is striking.
The internationally well-connected dancer and choreographer Lali Ayguadé has already worked with various doyens of the dance scene. She has been a member of several dance companies and has been working as a choreographer for ten years. She often deals with complex social issues and integrates various forms of contemporary dance, including acrobatics and drama, into her works. As a result, powerful stage pieces, based on the special qualities of their protagonists, are created.
