After the fabrik Potsdam created the JazzLab in autumn 2013, with jazz musicians Nicolas Schulze and Oliver Fröhlich, the regular date quickly became a permanent fixture on Potdam’s cultural calendar. An opening set by the JazzLab Band kicks off the evenings. Afterwards, more musicians are invited up on stage to meet and swap ideas during an exchange session. As a music lab and sound workshop, the JazzLab thus offers artists a place to swap and experiment with the most diverse genres and styles. What’s more, it also offers Potsdam’s audiences regular first-rate concerts in different constellations.
