Performance
A brass band unable to strike a common chord. Smoke, smoke and more smoke. A man on a moped ceaselessly circles two beautiful young girls lying lethargically and lasciviously on a sofa. At some point in time they vanish. Childhood dreams at the boundary of remembering and forgetting; amorous phantoms which get lost in the night, playful and emotionally charged. One could compare this performance with the long, meditative, almost iconographic images of Proust’s interior landscapes in In Search of Lost Time. Or with the tranquil, gliding, liberating melancholy of the world under water.
