Performance
Child-like imaginings, a phantasmagoria of young ruffians, or an amorous-grotesque parade of anti-heroes? Six supermen in oversized costumes attempt to woo the tall blonde in high heels: lascivious dancer, blasé fairy, unobtainable goddess. Here, testosterone abounds, but with all the excitement and anxiety, things become a little too ambitious. This picture gallery of burlesque video animations and hilarious scenes of showing off and disillusionment presents a school of erotic failure. Not only does the myth of the invincible comic hero lose its magic. Rather, this ironic portrait of a generation seeking to extend its own puberty indefinitely dismantles the contemporary model of masculinity as well.
