Multimedia Theatre Choreography
Company
post theater is a multidisciplinary performance group founded by Max Schumacher in New York. Since 2002 it has been based in Berlin where Hiroko Tanahashi joined as co-director. In the context of media art, theatre and dance, the group uses documentary material for its productions, and develops unusual perspectives on topics such as globalisation, intercultural encounters, identity and technology.
Performance
The novel and the film Fight Clubdeal with the topic of work. How does work influence identity – or does it? How is our self-image defined, if not by work? Do our jobs bring us contentment? Do we have a job at all? Express Fight Club presents a subversive association of thirty anonymous performers from Potsdam, rapidly forming multimedia choreography searching for alternatives to the world of work. That's all we are willing to reveal any more. Like they say in the movie: First rule of Fight Club: Do not talk about Fight Club.
