Fish-Tales lends a face, a voice and space to the narrative of the lives of water animals threatened by extinction. Historic and scientific facts are placed in a very visual fairy-tale setting. You begin to wonder if all the outrageous reports on flows of trade, fishing quota, transport, on ecology and economy of the oceans are really true. Instead of either environmental activism or craze for delicacies, Fish Talesoffers both, in this disturbing and delicious combination of water, slapstick, fin dance, magnificent costumes and fish soup.
