The first album by the seven-member band Somebody Else was called “Music is life”. What sounds like a life sentiment is a mixture of funk, soul, hip-hop, blues, jazz and gospel, all fused into a sound that the band itself calls classical pop. Urban, danceable and always different, not least of all due to the spontaneity of frontman Fisal Campbell, who invents songs in freestyle with a touch of abandon from simple melodies and fragmented lyrics with verses and refrain.
