Swing Low

Nourishing their longstanding passion for acoustic swing, Potsdam musicians Roland Menthel (clarinet), Jochen Hesch (guitar) and Matthias Opitz (guitar and banjo) join forces with Berlin-based bass player Jörn Henrich to deliver a new interpretation of the music of the 1930s and ’40s. Influenced by Django Reinhardt and his Hot Club de France – how could it be otherwise ? – Swing Low also include Klezmer and other Eastern European rhythms in their musical repertoire.
