BABELFISH is a loose association of actors, puppeteers and circus performers who realise a wide range of dramatic projects in different constellations.
Performance
Inflatable bodies, grotesque balloon people, abstruse pneumatic figures. How much would it take for things to burst? What makes people go up in the air, explode? What does it mean to be driven out one’s skin, one’s mind? In the Babelfish laboratory experiments on the expandability of the second skin are underway; the air is reduced, the pressure increased and gases exchanged with the risk of an explosion ever hanging in the air.
