With their playfully experimental fusion of Ska, rock and Slavic folklore, the five women of Iva Nova from St Petersburg are one of Russia’s greatest musical discoveries in recent years. Good to dance to, their fast music combines punk attitudes with feminine charisma and a slightly feminist touch.
