Company
Karbido was founded in 2003, since then it has found its place amongst Poland's most successful music performance groups. Despite their diverse musical backgrounds the four musicians are united by their great passion for theatre. Their music performance combines visual elements, drama, film, live poetry and radio art.
Performance
The light fades. Silence. Four men dressed in black are sitting around a wooden table. A set up like a poker game. But the table is a four-legged instrument, equipped with piano and guitar strings and sound pickups, reacting to the slightest vibrations and transforming them into electrifying sounds and grooves. Picking, scratching, rubbing, grinding, beating – with fingers and bare hands but also using sticks, bows, knives and other things the Men in Black are creating their powerful table firework of world music.
