Company
The Théâtre de l’Entrouvert was founded by Elise Vigneron. She studied Dramatic Art in Paris, and at the College of Circus Arts in Lille. Her work focuses on facilitating the audience’s active involvement in theatrical events.
Performance
Traversées is a visual obstacle course the spectator can experience hands on. Seven stages and as many passages and doors lead to new environments filled with apparitions, shadows, silhouettes, projections, figures and installations. The multiple areas are a mixture of outside and inside, the imaginary and the real, the visible and the invisible. Fragments of existence, life patterns, sketches of memory, traces of transience – the audience experiences the poetic sequence of images as an intimate labyrinth full of fragile moments of being in the world, as well as being with oneself.
