Karman is a young dance theatre company, only founded last year. Depending on the project the company, originally consisting of six members, invites guests from other branches to work with them, as Visual artists, musicians, sportsmen, go-go dancers or homeless people.

It is like a daily talent show presenting the absurdest of characters: the unnoticed soloist or perhaps the tireless stripper, the gay boxer, the murderer who stabs a water-body to death or the entertainer whose feelings are hurt.
They are all battling for their physical or spiritual existence. It`s futile of course, but they still do it, for has one person yet succeeded in conquering gravity? The short, videoclip-like episodes, the elements of horror, comedy and erotica blend together and are filled with respect for these tumbling figures, figures whose deepest desire is to escape from this world. Yet they are also fill with sad irony: the fantasy of floating is inevitably precluded by the reality of living.
