After BOBO brought out two albums last year: a classical singer/songwriter album and one with romantic German Lieder, for which she recently won the world music award, the singer now presents her new album titled Heart of Mine. The songs recall the light-footed BOBO of the Nineties, a mixture of pixie and punk girl with her outlandish independent pop. At the same time they sound as much like BOBO as ever; smooth, almost seamlessly one song, be it old or new, goes over into the next. And she got her original bass player, Lexa Schäfer, to play with her again.
