TRAINS There is a Train Station in my Head
musical multimedia performance
Company
HANDA GOTE, the Japanese word for soldering iron is not a coincidental name, the actors recycle old, used and broken object and reuse them. At the same time HANDA GOTE is a project engaged in the exploration and development of movement theatre, design theatre and sound design as well as in the integration of science and technology into art.
Performance
The persistent screeching of the brakes of rusty train wagons. An atmosphere of train stations in villages and bent iron scrap. An old, greasy bygone world, remodelled into an abstract industrial image. At the same time a multimedia concert for train noises with iron percussion instruments and projected images, found in and around train stations. A homage to relics from the past which have survived until today. And, of course, to the Czech railway.
