Established five years ago in Ravenna by Marco Valerio Amico, Rhuena Bracci and Roberto Rettura, NANOU presents the first part of the trilogy Motel which will reach its conclusion next year.
Performance
A surreal roomscape: suite, salon, shelter. A man and a woman like two sleepwalkers: seemingly heteronomous, almost ghostly, episodic miniatures of an obscure relationship. As though we were watching them dream. Or is it the place itself that is dreaming? A play about the invisible and the uncanny, about disappearance; about a quest to find what seems to have been lost, and about how certain places can take hold of us.
