Performance
Basement dungeon or nursery? Dust on the rocking horse. Rags are dangling, sand is trickling. A washing machine is spinning forever. This underworld is portentous, wild and anarchic, inhabited by strange mythical creatures and strange figures. A kingdom of monsters and zombies, of the cast-out and damned. Hilum tells of orphans returning to the original places of their pain. In this ghost hour the ghosts rebel against time itself with the power of intense dream worlds. A dark trip of resurrection and memory, accompanied by the childish feeling of taking evil pleasure in destruction and doom, inspired by fantasy and horror movies, animated films and film noir as well as by Artaud’s Theatre of Cruelty or the pataphysics of Alfred Jarry.
