Thrusting, pulsing and full of vitality: sophisticated rhythms, free improvisations, and pieces whose hooks are so catchy that it’s hard to get them out of your head. Pulsar Trio, with its apparently contrasting instruments such as the sitar, piano and drums, not only create a new kind of acoustic but also a groove that fuses jazz with world beats.
